Exegesis of the Eyecon

In the beginning, there was a veil over all things. It cloaked the true nature of the universe in shadow and confusion. Forms could not be perceived, and all paths were obfuscated.

Into this confusion there shown a beam of light from Outside. The light was named perception. Where the light shown, all shadows were lifted, and the veil was pierced.

When the light was gone, the memory of its illumination remained, and all that Is longed for its return. This longing became the Will to See.

Will concentrated and coalesced into that which Sees, The Eye. The Eye was still shrouded in the veil of shadow, and had not the light to see.

The Eye shown forth its own radiance, so that it could freely See in all places and all times.

The veil no longer held the power to deceive the Eye. Wherever it turned its gaze, it penetrated all obfuscation and deception. True Forms were now visible. All paths became clear.

The Eye became a symbol, projected forth for all who are in darkness and confusion. Only the Will to See can call it forth from the place of all Forms. Manifest as the Eyecon, it gives its perception freely to all who ask.

It never blinks, it never sleeps. It is vigilant and watchful always. It is wide, for it takes in all sights.

It is a primal force and a potent tool.

It does not judge good nor evil. It is beyond all such designations. It sees to the End, and sees that all Forms and all Paths lead ultimately back to the same place. The place from whence they came.
