Epiphany

Whoa...
Every now and then, I go off on a wild tangent in which various ideas that I have been exposed to gel into a larger whole. This is an example of such an occurrence that I recently re-discovered in my journal. I don't even remember writing this one. Hold on tight! Epiphany - A sudden manifestation of the essence or meaning of something. Self-analysis and self-evolution are life-long processes. The construct of the self is a product that is never finished. It is a work of art which will never receive the final brushstroke. The Bardo Thodol supposes that it is the ego that is the agent that drives mankind to control and direct our actions. Only through the death of ego, the removal of the hands from the metaphysical steering wheel, can we reach our full potential. This is the hardest, yet most essential step in the growth of the Self. Is it possible that corporeality is a dimension? The particular energy level or frequency at which the energy in an entity vibrates, i.e. whether an entity is manifest as wave, particle, or somewhere in between, would determine in which dimension that being exists in. So many seemingly unrelated phenomena are coalescing into a larger, related pattern. I keep thinking that if I can just take in enough information, a meta pattern will begin to be evident. If I can see enough of this larger pattern, I can begin to understand exactly what I am trying to create. The brain is an electrochemical analog computer. It is probably the most sophisticated construct of its type that can be conceived. It is a marvel of engineering that has evolved over thousands of years. Much of its untapped potential may be devoted to tasks which we cannot yet grasp. Perhaps the answer to which some devote their entire lives searching for lies within this structure, not outside the self. Perhaps understanding the microcosm of the mind, the software that runs on the hardware which is the brain, is the key to understanding the macrocosm which man refers to as God. If we are, in fact, all co-authors of our collective reality, then dogmatic systems are those systems which attempt to subvert our own will and add it to strengthening the reality which they espouse. All work toward defining the parameters of existence must be done in terms of mnemonics that the psyche can process. This is exemplified in the anthropomorphic, masculine expression of the godhead in the cult of Christ. Most minds have little capability of applying abstractions in the physical world. The minds sleep far too deeply. The limitations of projecting the human Will are set only by the perceived limits in our own mind. Overcoming these self-imposed training wheels, breaking out of the playpen of human perceptions is the first step to uniting ourselves once more with the source of our creation. This is the object of the game. It is Chaos itself, infinite potential, which can be said to be the spark of sentience. Living, sentient beings do not always follow the most logical course of action. This is not true of programmed machines. Chaos is all potential. It is pure, beyond good and evil. It simply exists, without requiring quantification or validation by human consciousness. Every ritual in every magical tradition, every action in every religion, and every magickal symbol, sigil, and glyph are all simply constructs for focusing the Will. Energy is omnipresent in existence. It is the agent of the nervous system in the form of electrical impulses. The ability to focus this energy is the way to work one’s Will. Some symbol systems have been built up over generations. The perception that they contain more power is entirely a subjective belief. As below, so above. What we refer to as a soul is a shard of the divine. The meat suits that we wear so that we can exist in this place are not who we are, no more than a digital avatar in a computer system is. A parameter of this game is that we lose our connection to the source. Perhaps we are the source, rendered into myriad fragments. Perhaps the hidden goal is to re-assemble these shards into a whole. If you plan on altering the reality paradigm, you’re going to need help. Lots of it. You’re competing with over six billion minds who all subscribe to the same basic line of bullshit that they’ve been sold. It’s not called consensus reality for nothing. To succeed in making a change, you must narrow the focus of your will. Concentrate it as a laser does light. The life we lead is the ultimate illusion. The “facts” that we accept as truths are spun, tailored, and fabricated to support the fallacy of the American Dream. Dream is the most appropriate word for this phenomenon. Dreams are the domain of those who are asleep. They are insubstantial, fleeting, without substance, and often without discernable meaning. This well describes the lives that those who pursue this fantasy lead. The agile mind, mercurial and able to change direction at will is the best possible state of being. Monolithic thinking leads to an evolutionary dead end. Religion is like a set of training wheels for the Self. To find true connection to the divine, you must transcend religion.
